I'm not sure when it started, and I know most television stations probably felt that people would get used to it -- but it has grown more and more irritating to me. Those floating logos in the lower right hand screen of most cable channels are incredibly annoying. They get in the way of important plays during football, science programs, and distract you from the hot chick with big breasts (ok, maybe not) and if the logo isn't enough, they have the nerve to show text about what is coming up next.
I guess this is allowed in lieu of the requirement for station identification at the top of the hour, and I know we all have TV screens the size of Iowa compared to when I was a kid...but please...does it have to be up there ALL the time? I know what friggin' channel I have on, and if I don't I can just push the INFO button to find out. Go away!
